Will a 73-97 PWR Brake booster fit in our trucks???

I am looking at possibly swapping my Disk brake crossmember and brakes etc from my 79 Burban to the 71 shortbed frame.

Would I be able to adapt the 79 PWR brake booster/master cylinder to the 71 truck?

Anyone ever try it?

Regards,

Stacey

I put a 3/4 ton brake booster/master cylinder from a 78 4wd on to my 70 K5 that had manual brakes. I did have to drill a couple new mounting holes and lenthen the push rod a bit.
