Copperhead is nice but this one got my attention
Ladies and gentlemen this is the epitome of what a truck is all about IMO...and it's the right color too
67 GMC 3/4 ton 2wd, 305 V6, 4 speed, medium green, fawn interior, darn close to original, looks to be a Super Custom too. Ebay link - Not mine My knit picks are the seat cover, but hey, OE fawn is not available so I guess you have to compromise, and the front hubcaps look odd. Better pics would have been nice too. Now this one I am jealous about

I LIKE the green truck...too bad they have a '71-72 white houndstooth seat cover in it.

ALMOST perfectly restored "Green Farm truck" Vs. a truck that has no practicle purpose (no, not even drag racing, can't get it hooked up) other than looking good? No competition in my book, I'm with you CPNE

This wasn't intended to be a Copperhead Vs. the Green Farm Truck thread, but hey, let the bashing begin. It might get interesting.
FYI, Tynee, that's my take on it too.

Medium green and light blue are the best GM colors of all time. That is one nice truck.

I like both. I can say this, it is a helluva lot harder to keep something original than it does to modify it.
I would like to find a creampuff 73-80 similar to the truck just posted...someday.

Thats a nice farm truck, I dont know about the $7500 "buy me now" price, not what I would spend that amount of cash on. I dont like the color at all, but its a very clean.
This is something that will be nice at the county fair not a big car meet. IMO Copperhead is nice, BUT I would have enjoyed it more if it was built by a regular Joe, not some show with $$$$. I see a lot of nicer rides on this board just because I can appriciate the hard work and love that goes into them. Maybe the same amount of love is in the green truck. So my vote is for the green truck (not because its better). Odd swing of a vote from me, because I love cutting up metal.

That green truck looks sweet! There's another 3/4 ton in the background, you can see the rim on it in one of the pics.

Medium green is one of the best colors that GM has ever come out with. Anyone who has actually seen it in real life would agree. You can't tell the real color of the truck from the pic.

That is nice, but you are slipping Jeff! Tailgate looks like a 69-72 with the 'big' GMC logo. Or am I nuts? For the record, I like it better than Copperhead too...but there isn't much to compare.

I'd agree with CPNE.
the problem with copperhead is it has too much IMO whereas the green truck is nice and simple and if anything needs to be replaced it's easier to by something rather than make it by hand but thats just my oppinion

Deuce "How about a farm truck with a 572", lmao. I saw a tri-5 station wagon at Edmonton International raceway (1/4 mile) back @ 1982 that was about 20 different colors and had 4 mismatched wheels, the thing looked like a beater.... everyone laughed at his car until he staged, hammered it and smoked everyone in his class... one of the funniest things I've ever seen. CPNE nice truck, Copperhead is a beauti also... IMO ALL 67-72's rock!!! Doug

After watching the last Trucks all Copperhead did is smoke it's tires. (And make a 140mph run!) I'd take that GMC farm truck any day but not for $7500.00.
I wonder how much it would take to replicate Copperhead?
