WTB: Running LWB/SWB 67-72 in CA/AZ/NV

I am located in San Diego, but am willing to drive 3/4/5 hours if it means a decent deal....

Basically I'm looking for a reliably running project truck. Mild to moderate rust and dents are okay, but it needs to be driveable. I had a lead on a '70 C20 a week ago, but that one fell through.

I prefer a SWB, but I'm sure I can be convinced otherwise.

Thanks for the help everyone, this site is by far the best board I've been a part of.

Thanks, Chuck... the black/primer one definitely got my attention. Think it would handle a drive to S.D. ?

I'm following up on a couple trucks here in town, but they seem pretty torn up so far. Is your truck the wood slat bed? What shape are the suspension arms in? All the gauges work? Dash in good shape?
Thanks, I really appreciate it.

Anyone else... feel free to chime in with your trucks for sale within a 1/2 day's drive of San Diego. The local truck trader comes out Friday morning, so I'll be following up on those ads this weekend.

I'm selling my '95 chevy z71 (lifted, etc, etc). It bores me now. BUT... I need to have a "daily driver" to use when I get rid of the Z71 (no frame-off resto's for now).

For those locals, I'm in Santee.
