I'm running a 305 bored .030 over with a 2GV Rochester 2bbl carb. It's good on the street, with good response and decent mileage. If you want to smoke the tires, go with the 4bbl, but I'm happy with 2.

It's tripower baby!!! YEA! My father has a '64 GTO with a 389 and factory Tripower. He also has a 64 Grand Prix and a 58 Olds with a J-2 engine that both have Tripower!

Yup. The setup involves three two barrel carbs. It can be hard to get it setup right but when it is on it RULES!!!. GM used it for quite awhile on various cars but then banned multiple carb setups across all their brands. 70's I think or possibly late 60's. The factory setups are vary desirable. I'm suggesting to my father that he sell the Olds, he lost interest in it, for what he paid but let me take the motor for the 66 C10 the I'm working on buying. It would be a sweet setup with some great power.
