I`m thinking about this kit for my 68 since all of the e-brake stuff is missing. Anyone know anything about it? Here is the link.

Used one in a '35 Ford street rod ... not on one or our model trucks though. I don't see that it would be a problem though.

I was going to use one also. In fact I bought one. They are made by LOKAR. I've since decided to go to a hand operated E brake. Will be selling mine soon. Keep in mind they don't come with the cables. That is extra.

Nothing like driving barefoot with your clutch foot on the ebrake!

I went with the Lokar floor mounted e-brake. It works great and I like the look of it. You can see it in the background of the pic. It was real easy to install. Plus, you can install it almost anywhere on the floor.

Worked like a CHAMP! No problems what-so-ever and it was real easy to set up. They make it so the mounting brackets are adjustable to mount to most anything.

I would recommend it over the stock set up for cool factor alone. Nothing like Billet!

How much do they cost? I didnt see a price on the thread? How much you selling yours for when you sell it? Can I get in line for it? Also can you use your stock cable with it? Thanks........

They are listed for $210.95. Kinda pricey but as Shane put t, nothing like billet. I like the floor mount one shown above also. My truck doesn`t have anything right now so I don`t know what to go with. It`s going to get a No Limit billet dash and glove box door so I might just pay the money and get the billet one. Thanks for the replies guys.

For what it's worth ... the billet is sexier than socks on a rooster, but I will be going with the one that Gonebad2 used ... gonna try and hide it a little.

Nawwww...It's the adjustment for speedwarning. It does kind of look like a valve stem cap. The top of it has a "S" on it.

You will need the Lokar cables for this handle. The cables and brackets are only about $100.00 . You might be able to rig up something with the original cables but I'm not sure how well it would work out. The Lokar cable kit replaces all of the stock cables. Even the ones that pass through the backing plates.
