Question Changing from 69-72 springs to 73-up?

Ok, I know this has been talk about before, but i cant seem to find any info on it. A friend called me this morning saying he has a line on a 6 inch lift that one of his friends is taking off. Hes asking like $250 for the front sprinds, steering parts, and maybe shocks. The problem is that they are for a '73 and up chevy and I have a '69 (also the fact that 6 inches a more then i wanted to lift my beast). Anyways how much work goes into changing the mounts out to fit them? Thanks guys
Kevin
