Getting my exhaust on tomorrow and i can't decide here are my options
1. All the way out the back 2. Turn them out behind the wheel wells 3. Turn them down after the axle? Any pics?

WELL GOOD THING IT'S A PICK-UP, IF IT WERE A BLAZER NO. 1 WOULD BE

i have one truck with it dumping ASAP past the t-case and i like the sound, and the fact that it is all hidden. i am going to be getting my 70 into the exaust shop as soon as i get the headers on it, and i am still wondering what to do for exaust dump as well. Good luck

It's a 68 swb with the blazer tank conversion 4 and 6in drop.

It's not always possible, but I much prefer the looks of them straight out the back. But that doesn't work on drastically lowered trucks and driveways.

I like the 45 degree and 90 degree exits behind the rear wheels, just looks so professional. To get it to look good, you just need to take a look at stuff to make sure it is all lined up the same, and do some measuring to get stuff symmetrical

I saw a truck the other day that had straight outs kinda they turned at about a 45 right by the bumber so basically they were straight outs with the tips (about 6") turned at a 45 nice and tight to the rear bumber. but then again you have the drop so might not work but looked pretty good. I might do it to my truck.

kinda hard to see on this pic, but here ya go anyway. I like it this way because it allows you to put the mufflers right behind the rear axle and if you need to replace the mufflers just unclamp them and put new ones on. It really bugs me though because the thing everyone compliemts me on is my exhaust tips because they are in the shape of the chevy logo. Out of the entire truck, the tips stand out the most? sheesh.....

just to throw in another option, i'm thinking of doing mine C-5 vette style, straight out the back in the middle with one big wide tip. don't know if i can work out the blazer tank clearance issues. would be using a roll pan and relocating the license plate in the tailgate. recess cut the C-5 tip at the bottom of the rollpan. if it works, it'll solve my clearance issues. if i can't do it i'll 45 degree them out of each rear corner. saw a 55 from Lafayette, LA done this way, it's traveling the the World of Wheels curcuit. Saw it in Houston in December and Dallas last weekend. metallic green and silver, very nice truck.

I ran my duals inside the frame past tranny and t-case then to two mufflers and turned out before rear wheels. Only the turn-outs are visible when you glance under the truck. Very clean. I love this set up and it sometimes sets off car alarms as I drive by!

I've never been able to get a set of pipes out past the axle on a 6 inch rear lowered truck. We tried every different way, but nothing worked. Had to always run dumps right in front of the axle.

My 72 stepper has twin 3" pipes from the hedmans straight out the back. I have a 6" static drop. Pipes kick up over the rear axle then down again to under the bumper with resonator tips on them. No problems with them but I am going to replace them with something different (probably a side exit after the rear wheels) in the near future. Have a nice ol' hole in one of the kick ups where the crud collects so is sounding a bit loud at present....

I like them coming out past the fenderwells at a 45.

Don't do like I did with my very first K20 where I ran them straight out the back. They actually stuck out a little past the bumper. I'm sure you know where I'm going with this......I backed up into something, hit the tailpipes which proceeded to break both manifolds.....ugghhhh... Plus they always fumed me out while I was hooking up the trailer.
