This is a little off-subject, but since we are talking GMC special editions, does anybody know where I can get Repro or NOS Heavy Half decals for a '78 GMC Sierra Heavy Half. Joe doesn't have any info on his site about them.

As for the decals, I don't know of a source, I'd probably try to use a parts locator (www.partsvoice.com etc...) for part number 14004738 (Heavy Half) or 473979 (Big 10) or keep an eye on Ebay for some NOS decals.

ElGracho, I have 2 Beau James questions.
Were they all longbeds? Are the Beau James decals also being reproduced like the Gentleman Jim ones are?

As a last resort, I can reproduce about any decal if I have a decent one to use as an example. The next best thing is a high resolution photo of one. The glue on NOS decals that you might find will most likely be bad. We run into this all of the time. The NOS decals are excellent to use as an example, though.
We have a sign shop, but I won't shamelessly self-promote myself by posting a link on the board.

Yes, the Beau James decals are also being reproduced. LMC Truck is now listing the Beau James and Gentleman Jim decals. I have no idea of their quality. I've heard really good things about the decals from here: Jim Osborn Reproductions
