3-5 spring drop...
Has anyone done this drop? Right now I have cut springs up front and heated in the back. It looks like a saggin 2-4 drop as these are original springs.
Im thinkin 3-5 will be close but I dont want alignment issues. I already have shock relocators and a adjustable trac bar and will probably get new shocks w/ the springs.

I think Tim Christian did this on his sons truck and maybe Gene also. Their trucks look great!

Mine is supposedly has 3" springs in the front and 4" springs in the rear. I don't know for sure because I bought the springs slightly used and didn't see any numbers on the springs. Personally I think it sits about 1" too high in the rear. As far as alignment, It seems to ride and drive just as good as it did before (which is pretty darn good.)

thanks Alex. Now if only they were real.... They widest they make is 17x8's in the chrome ralley's and I'm dead set on 17x9.5's in the rear, SOOO it's either fork out the $$ for the Billet ralley's (which you can get in any width) or go with something different....

Here is mine. It has a 3.5/5. I haven't had any alignment issues that I can remember, but then again, I have had so many problems with everything else that I could have just forgotten

Very nice Low68. I ordered my 3-5 springs w/ new gas shocks from Athey's Classic Truck Parts and took advantage of the 10% off offer they have going this month. Fresh suspention makes me happy

Could I ask the cost per wheel and do they come in 17x9 or 10's? They look really good on your truck

They don't make the steel rally's in anything wider than 17x8 I had a long conversation with the guy at wheel vintiques and he said the only way to get the rally's wider was to buy the billet rally's that are around $300 each Disappointing to say the least.

I have a 2-1/2" drop spindle in the front and a 4" lowering spring in the rear. on a LWB. It looks good, w/15x8 245-60-15 and 15x10 295-50-15. I want to go bigger with the rim size and also use a blazer style tank. I wouldn't recommend going with a 4" spring in the rear if you plan to use a rear mount tank. I've got to pull my 4" and try a 3" due to the rear end may set lower than the front.

Hey, Jason, your truck looks pretty damned low compared to the other guys with the same drop. How is your ride with only using springs to drop it? About the same as stock, too stiff, or a little squishy?
What size wheels you got?
