I think I would reroute this fuel line. Look a little unsafe to me!

GET rid of that air filter SERIOUSLY like if you think that fuel line is dangerous that filter is worse I had one and it burnt up and ruined my edelbrock carb, and I also had a friend that his cought fire and his whole engine bay went up in smoke

dont worry about the fuel hose. The throttle is held in place by a vise grip for quick engine removal. And the wires form a protective net in case of a heavy crank case explosion.
