What holes to use for trans brace. (402 T400)
I am just bolting together my frame and was wondering if anyone could tell me what holes I would be using for the turbo 400 trans behind a BB??
Also, while we are at it, which holes do the motor mount brackets bolt into? (front or rear) thanks!

whats nice about these trucks is you can figure out which holes to use when you're putting the engine tranny in. what I've allways done was to put the motor as far forward as I can, leaves room for the dist/firewall, and just slide the tranny crossmember as far back as you can until the engine tranny is put in, then put the crossmember in. I also only use the bottom 4 bolts to attach it to the frame. All this was done with a small block, don't know if BB are diff.

That is what I may end up doing. I was just hoping someone knew for sure so I could have it all ready. I don't want to scratch it all up, moving it around.
