Will a pre 72 door work on a 72 cab, what is the difference?

It will work. The 72 doors have a screw on the top under the vent window (supposed to keep the top of the door from spreading I think), the panel and armrest is different and the window regulator shaft is longer. The dimensions are the same and they all bolt up the same.
