So since tomorrow(friday) my weekend starts when 1 0'clock comes around I thought I'd ask what you guys have plan for this weekend.
So i got friday 1pm till i kick myself out of the garage, saturday & sunday morning till about 7pm

My To-do List
-finish passenger floor
-start driver side floor
-fab up some parts that arn't reproduced
-install my fuel line, pump, and filter
-finish brake line installation
-finish the body mount installation
-install radiator support
-bolt in transmission crossmember
-pull out rear inner wheel fender and fix what little rust they have

and, maybe if I feel peppy, redo a section of the windshield.

goodluck to me.

Well, I have been working on mine every day, and a lot of nights (self employed). Today I tried to fire up the old beast. ---------HEI has no spark. I have a spare in another non runner though, so I gave up for the day, gonna start fresh tomorrow and go outside with a screwdriver and a 9/16

Tomorrow is maybe the day! The nice lady in my house says she would like to see me once in a while, so I might take tomorrow off........well, after 6 pm or so anyway, mebbe 7. But Saturday I start again. Saturday is a workday, Right?

Alexis, your weekend list would take me about 6mos, good luck. I'm currently stripping the bed floor and sides. Got one side done, hope to do the other this weekend. Takes forever.

My K5 will roll out of the garage this weekend. I am very committed to that. Fri night, All day Saturday should just about do it... This is good, I can collect my thoughts 'out loud' here.

I did change the distributor and rebuild the carb at the same time, so I am expecting fun times getting it all dialed back in.

LH Axle new u-joint press in
Press lug studs and lock new rotor onto old hub
Clean old hub and inspect races
pray that I don't need to change races
Pack and install new inner/outer hub bearings, seals
Replace 2 broken spindle studs
Clean spindle and pack spindle bearing
Install spindle and backing plate
Install hub assy and locking hub
Install new caliper and SS brake line
Remove old brake line and caliper
torque rear u-bolts to spec
Install dual stabilizer up front
remove old dual exhaust system
Get the old girl started
Get out of garage
a) air down 38's enough to lower few inches
or b) use neighbors suburban wheels/tires
Bolt and/or air 38s back up
Set timing and idle
Recheck everything
Maiden voyage
Wash it

I got my weekend started early. Told the wife that I was going to keep it and to deal with it. Pulled the front clip off today (motor and trans tomorrow) and removed a 10x14 section from the left rear floor that had some rust. Started gasket match porting the bb heads last night. Called and got a small 401K loan today and when it shows up going to take a trip ECC and get all of the patch panels and a complete 68 frontend with a cowl hood..Here are some pics of it as it sits now
