See if you can find your receipt and call your dealer. I purchased some repro mirrors from Obsolete for my K10 that started to pit after a couple years. When I called them up to replace the mirrors with OEM parts they wanted to know if I needed brakets too. I tell them I already have the brakets from the repro mirrors and I tell them why I am changing them(pits). They said their supplier had a warranty on the chrome, they had me send the mirrors back and they ended up refunding something like 30% or 40% of what I had paid originaly for them. I know it wasn't as good as a full refund but it was more than I could have gotten for them on Ebay. If you can't find your sales slip just call around and see if you can find OEM mirrors, they cost more but you will be much happier in the long run.

So you think I should go with OEM? I also had one get really loose and wouldn't stay in place.
