Gear Ratio Help?

canyone tell me what gear ratio i got in my glove box on the parts id its says rear axle-standard?

break open the diff case it'll be stamped on the ring, best way to check incase someone has swapped them already on ya..

If you open the diff, you can count the teeth on the ring & the pinion - divide the ring by the pinion and that's it. Or just jack up the back of the truck and rotate a tire one full turn while counting driveshaft revolutions, and that's your gear ratio. Unless you have an open diff - in which case you multiply the shaft revolutions x 2. Or rotate the tire twice.
