WTB 68 anniversary
I know this is a shot in the dark, but I'm looking for a 68 anniversay swb. Doesn't have to have a motor or tranny, interior etc. Just would like it to not be a total basket case. Any out there? I'm in central Nebraska.

That was a shot in the DARK!,
IM looking for a 70swb fleetside, with a 72 front clip, and shaved doorhandles, and a 468 BBC, with Airbags in the back, i would like it to have a Alpine CD deck in it, powered by a Pioneer, with 5.25" speakers in the doors

Well I didn't think it was that far fetched! I did leave it pretty broad and wide open, just hoping to find something that wasn't a total basket case. Never should have sold the ones I had 7 years ago!

Well I might be the only one on this board that has one of these. It was dismantled when I bought it and it is in more pieces now. I am not looking to sell but I thought that I would bring your post back to the top. Why not just paint a 68 with the anniversary scheme that you want? I know about the numbers matching thing but most people don't have a clue and just like the paint scheme. They do come up from time to time i will keep my eyes out. Her is a pic that the owner gave me of what it looked like several years back.

I have seen lots of the '68 Anniversary paint schemes but only two short fleetsides so far. I have at least 6 lwb and one Longhorn here locally. I have my eye on two of them. I am thinking the 50th paint scheme was very popular. Let me go one step further than what Hutch says...unless you intend to do a perfect 100 pt restoration, you are better off just building a short fleet and painting it the 50th colors.

Yes guys, if I can't find a true anniversary, (I do have a couple of leads) I'll probably go the paint scheme route instead. Still banging my head against a wall for selling the 2 I had!!!

I know mine doesn't meet all your criteria (short box, basket case) but it is a 50th and it is for sale.
