New Member Greets All In 60 -66 Forum

Hey All.
First off my name is Rick and I am from NC..........Now to the good stuff.
I have 2 Project trucks in the works....a hod rod version of a 62 Apache short bed stepsideand a Modern Version of a 64 fleetside Longbed

The 62 has been mounted on a 1993 Caprice Police POV Frame with 4 wheel antilock disk brakes and all the great cop car suspension.......we took the LT1 350 4bolt tbi motor and fitted it with tuneport injection from a 95 Camero Iroc/Z28 and a 6 speed corvette transmission..had to bob 8 inches off the back of the frame and box it in as well as a cross support midframe. The truck sits about 3 inches lower than stock, but I am hoping the ride will be almost as good as the caprice was(still fabricating) Ibelieve it will handle quite well.

the 64 is mostly stock with some upgrades to the suspension like the front disc brakes from a 77 c10 truck it has a 454 and a turbo 400 with a 12 bolt rearend i added air bags to the rear so that I can pull my trailer.

well thats about it if anyone is interested in any of the mods on either of theses two trucks or some of the others I have let me know here is a brief description of some of the parts/vehicles I have for sale or trade/Barter

Welcome to the board from western Washington. Sounds like your yard is where I'd like to spend my summer vacation

Lets see some pics of that caprice/truck going together. How easy was it?
