BBC 049 Heads for sale!!!
Hey All,
I have a set of BBC 049 heads for sale. The heads are known as one of the best flowing BBC chevy cast iron heads. They will need a rebuild. These heads have been checked for cracks and are in good shape other than needing a rebuild. They were removed off a running motor before I got them. I picked them up from a fellow board member intending to use them for my BB build. It is looking like I am going to have to transfer and move and need to make a massive change of plans so I have been selling off some of the parts I collected. I am asking $225.00 for these heads and will ship if buyer pays all shipping costs. I will work on getting pics up tomorrow or can email them to you if you wish. Please PM or email me @ staceybeller@charter.net Regards, Stace |

Here are a few pics....
They have been sitting for awhile on the shelf in my garage and the rust you see is surface and will comeoff in machining or bead blasting. I would replace the valves etc in them |

Those are great flowing heads for a mid size big block in the 396-454 range.
No offence, but the shipping would be the killer on these, 75lbs each if I am not mistaken. But still a good set of heads.

Yes, they are heavy.
I would prefer a face to face but would ship if someone wants to check on it. BTW, I do have a friend here in Dallas area running in the high 9s low 10s with a set of these heads in a Big Block car. Great way to make power without spending a ton of cash. regards, Stace |

Just FYI: I shipped a set of fully assembled BBC heads all the way across the country for $80 using freightquote.com
