Nothing to be ashamed of there. I'm picky and it looks just fine.
After you see some of the crap I've seen you'd really know you've done just fine.

Looks just fine to me. Nice welds too. Those are fairly long beads, what amperage and wire size are you using? I bet Ebfabman will give your work a compliment

I'm using a Hobart 135, lowest amp (1 out of 4), wire speed 20, C25 and .023 wire.

Yup, I was running tack welds about every 1.5" then filling them in with a single line but was told it's better to run the tacks closer (1/2" or so) and keep tacking (at opposite ends to keep everything cool) till it looks all filled in.

For butt welds, had a lot of 'blow through' until doing the latter method. Lots of little welds works OK.

Just discovered this flapper wheel (zincronium?) for my 4" grinder that really shines the metal without grinding it all away. Pretty neat!

I think it looks great! I hope mine turn out that good! Been a long time since I welded sheet metal (15 years) and I don't think I did that good back then.

Do you know what brand those patch panels are? I like the way those ones look. Too bad they dont make one that go the entire length of the doorway.

are the inner rockers part of the floor piece that you have welded in?

Gee_emm: Those pieces are from Chevy Duty. Also got some other pieces from Heartbeat. Turns out all the pieces I got so far are sourced from Fit Rite. Metal thickness is good, fit could be a lot better. Except the $$$ GM rocker, that sucker went right in with almost no tweeking.

Cheyenne: Yup, the front floor piece that I bought covered from the edge of the hump to the top edge of the rocker, then it turned down ~85 degree angle for 4" to act as the inner rocker. I only needed about a 10" piece of that, so I used the leftover to fill in the hump that was cut out by the PO.
