I call my disease DIY-itis.

Building trucks.
Building a house (not "having it built" like any reasonable person does).
Building computers.
etc...

Then there's the "minor annoyances" like being a husband and father, plus I gotta hold down a day job to pay for all the other ongoing projects.

But, hey - it keeps me out of trouble, and I seem to be enjoying myself. I could use a clone, tho...

Seeing as I am not musically inclined like some others here the only time I can make music is when I turn on the radio and plug in a tape or CD.

Other diseases I would suspect would be my '71 Chevelle SS which is the spring restore project, '57 Chevy 2dr Sedan, (started restore and got involved in the truck as a neccessity. The body was about to fall off the frame.) Picked up the Chevelle and moved the '57 to the "next" back burner.

"Only two kinds of vehicles on the road, GM's and all them others !"

I do have one F**d but it is a '48 model 8N.

Sicknesses huh? Nitro R/c cars maybe? Hmm...I think I feel a sneeze coming on, lol. I did have a 74 CB 750 and am looking for another bike now, and plan to get one as soon as I can afford it. I was collecting beer and liquor bottles(bud light and Jack Daniels mostly) but I had to get rid of em. I'm also trying to a-mass a full set of tools, I'd call that sickness... Besides that stuff...I work almost all the time when I'm not at school, does that count?

Apparently hanging out on truck message boards is a sickness for me. Also, sorry guys, but the Z28 always gets preferential treatment, (it's in the garage where the truck wont' fit with it). That may have something to do with the fact that the Camaro is 100 times better condition than the truck body wise.

Other than the car/truck thing, I also collect antique toys & trains, build & collect models, and spend entirely too much time on the computer when I should be working on my trucks.

The B Mack tanker truck pictured is a 1964 Hess tanker. It was the first in the now famous line of trucks sold every year starting Thanksgiving weekend. Originally sold for I believe $1.19, a mint in box example will now fetch over $3K. These were made by MARX toys and also sold under other oil company logo's...

The trains pictured are a small sample of some of the American Flyer HO trains & Tyco/Mantua trains that I collect. I especially like the passenger trains but I collect all of them. My Flyer HO collection is 90% complete, covering everything from 1938 thru 1963.

My dad is the same but on a much larger scale. Not only does he have the same stuff as me, but he also collects old toy boats & outboards, old Tonka's from the early to mid 50's, Smith Miller truck & old pedal cars & Schwinn bikes...

sickness.. hmmm... I just got a motorcycle. It's making me a little queasy. Other than that stock car racing, hotboats, and playing guitar make up the short list.
