Pic Request. Stock Divorced Choke Rod - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Looking for a pic for a stock divorced choke rod that goes from the carb to the thermostat wheel. Just got the setup and the rod is not bent. Just trying to see where the rod will need to be bent.

Yep that is what I am looking for. Looks like I have a different intake than yours. My doghouse doesnt screw down and the opening is smaller. Looks like the setup in this pic.

Dont know about the price. Its just identical to the one I have. I think you might be able to get a better deal from one of the board vendors well thats been my experience in the past.

Here is a pic of two different styles of chokes. If you have a 68 setup it will be like the one on the right. The one on the left is a 71, but I am not sure what years were alike.

Mine is the one on the right. But it looks like they sent me the rod for the 71

No problem. Now I know where to bend.

GET A FEW WELDING RODS ....you can custom bend rods all day

Welding rods are a good idea. Should be better than coat hangers!
