Stepside rear fender bolts
Anyone know if the head of these bolts (inside bed) are painted body color?
I'll be painting my fenders off the truck. Need to know whether I should spray the bolts too.

I would say yes because they weren't stainless and would have rusted. (I'm no expert though)

My 1967 are painted and original.

My '69 are original paint. And, I replaced these on a '68 I had a few years ago... they were also painted.

I agree on body color,if you sucessfully got them out(the phillip head ones are the ones im assuming)Id replace with some stainless.Unless your originality buff.

Thanks alot. I bought brand new ones but wasn't sure if they were body color originally or perhaps silver or black. (the last two didn't sound right) The new ones are steel so they do need paint.
