in need of some alternator advise on a bagged truck
i have finally got my truck on the road again after the tranny rebuild, baggin', and 1/2 ton conversion. and i have run into some problems. first i have two viair 380c's, an 11 gallon tank, a weird valve block (with 1/8" out and 3/8" in ports). all on 1/2" line and 3600# bags. this is all on my 88 cc dually. everything works ok, but the compressors are each drawing 17 amps and it really is a strain on the electrical system. its to the point where when the compressors are on the the truck is parked you can here the rpms decrease when they kick on. so i need to know what i should do? i.e. dual batterys, ford silinoid, battery isolator on dual batterys, higher amp alternator. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! it is really getting annoying when i turn on my turn signal and the compressors are on you can hear the compressors going EHHH...ehhh...EHHH...ehhh...Ehhh.

Um, go engine driven? Sell the compressors and piece together a new setup
Mine ran around ~300ish for the parts, prolly more if I count EVERYTHING, but you already have most of the parts since you already have compressors.
