73+ leafs on my 63
here is the deal my 63 gmc has a leaf setup(stock) and i want to lower it and i know they make a flip kit for 73+ trucks. would the flip kit work or would i have to swap the leafs? also what is the length of the springs and are there different legths? any info would help or just an opinon on what you guys think.

The leaf springs on 73-87 are 52" and 56" long eye to eye. You probably would want to compare the spring widths and how the axle mounts on the springs. If the truck is not a daily driver, I would prolly buy a flip kit and see how it works. You might also look at the DJM website, you can download the installation instructions, that might give you some guidance.

thanx, djm has a flip kit for my truck has every thing i need. also my leafs are 51". thanx again.
