CD player question
Hey guys/gals:
I am all over this cab this weekend. I know this sound stupid but I don't know the answer!. What size or even type of wire I need to use to connect my new cd player to new speakers? Old wires are all brittled and damaged. CD player is Kenwood 75 Wx4. I don't know if you need anyother info, sorry. Thanks |

wander out to an auto parts store, or even a radio shack and get speaker cable. Then you don't have to screw around with separate wires and such, and it's much easier to work with. Trust me.

Shortymac is right, but I would recommend pickin some up from wally world. I bought 50 feet of it for a few bucks.

It's probably too late, but anything 14 gauge is fine. Radio Shack and Sears both sell quality wire in bundles for cheap. 16 Will work also, but avoid anything smaller than 16 gauge.

Quality shielding might prove more important than guage, to a point.

It's got a nice thick shielding from both of those sources. Biggest plus is whether or not air and water are kept out. There's little chance of electrical interference on trucks these old as long as you keep the speaker and power wires separated.
