4spd to turbo 400?? Help
Will a turbo 400 bolt right into my truck if it has a 784spd in it now?? If so would I be able to run a ratchat shifter w/ a 2in body lift??

No. I am guessing you have the NP205 since you didn't say. If thats the case you will need the TH400 to NP205 adapter, which is $$ if you can even find one, from a 77-84 K30 1 ton truck. Then you will need a 32 spline input gear for your transfer case, about $150, and then have the bearing hole bored out for the larger bearing, around $40-50.

will a turbo 350 or a 700r4 fit??? and yes i have a 205 o and it is a 72

No, I believe your 205 is a 10 spline version, so you will need to find the correct adapter, and input for any tranny you want to install.
Or just find a TH400 with the transfer case and correct adapter, and then sell yours. Yes you should be able to use a ratchet shifter with a 2 inch body lift.
