Leaking Intake Manifold

I noticed this under my intake. Does this mean its leaking? I felt around under it and it didnt have any oil that I could feel.

Yup, looks like a front manifold leak. That will happen when the your engine is at speed because of existing oil pressure and oil being slung around under the manifold. Did you use the runner gasket, or plain RTV there?

I used the ultra black rtv. I layed down a bead about as thick as a straw and let it sit for about 30 mins before I put the intake on. That may explain why I thought I had a rear seal leak. Its coming down the front and blowing down along the oil pan and getting to the tranny dust cover. Well I hope I am right. Also has anyone done this. Layed down a thin bead of rtv put on the rubber gasket and then layed down mpre rtv and put the intake on?

dont use rtv and agasket it wont seal. when you use rtv both surfaces must be spotless. clean off old rtv till you get to nice clean bare metal then use some brake clean on a rag and wiper both mounting surfaces clean. tehn splly the rtv and set the intake on and torque it down. another bonus is dont start it for 24-48 hours this gives the rtv a good chance to cure

Adding to what Dean said, inspect the sealant while it is still wet, looking for gaps. Properly applied, it should squeeze out in a uniform bead. After it's cured, you can trim the excess with a razor blade.
