Antenna Options?
Anybody done anything different with their antennas. I've seen the french antenna's but I can't do that.
I went down to NADC to bring them my new windshield and back slider and noticed that they covered my antenna hole. I'm pretty sure I can just drill a hole and come in from the bottom and attach it where it will be used. I just thought while it's covered I might see if anybody has done anything custom that looks good. Bryan

Where did you get it. I've never seen them before.

That's exactly the one I installed but am not ready to power it up to test it. You may want to check E-bay for it; that's where I bought mine and it cost less.

Redneck antenna
My '72 was ordered radio delete, so no antenna hole in the cowl. I took a piece of antenna cable, plugged it into the radio, and then stripped the black outer covering, to expose the 2 wires running inside. i ran the insulated wire to the driverside, and the exposed wire to the passenger side. both were tucked up at the bottom of the dash. the exposed wire i grounded to the dash. it doesn't work as good as an external, but it cost me $5, and i got stations in town great. just had problems when i got out in the sticks...
