Shocks for lifted truck
I posted a while back about the rough country lift and with the overwhelmingly bad responce I have decided to spend some more money on a better product. Im going with skyjacker springs (4") up front and blocks (for now) in the rear. What are some good shocks at a resonable price to help out a lifted trucks ride? I was thinking skyjacker or rancho, any one have experiance with these or another brand you would recomend?

I like the "hydro" shocks vice the "gas pressurized" shocks myself. I have explore pro comps/skyjackers and tuff countrys between my two trucks and like the skyjacker hydros, the tuff countrys on the rear of my GMC are shot and will be replaced.

My '70 K-20 has a 4" lift and I have had Bilsteins on it for several years. I use it off-road and on-road and they have held up great and perform well.

Well I was going to wait for shocks until I read some responces, but ended up buying some Pro Comp ES 3000's right after I made the thread. Does anyone have these shocks? How well have they worked out for you?

I had a set of the 3000s they were ok. The last set I bought were superlifts of the superlift scratch and dent on ebay. $94 shipped to my door for 14" travel shocks. I love these, they ride a lot better than the procomps I had.

I have heard good stuff about procomp! I was going to say SkyJacker until I noticed you already had bought the ProComps. You should be pretty happy with them. But let know how they are?
