? For the BB owners
I have a 69 C10 with a 396 in it I was in traffic for the races Sunday an the temp got up to 210 I was just wondering if this is about temp yours run in traffic and I am talking sitting still traffic. I have a new radiator water pump and thermostat and it will stay around 180 most of them time but when I get in traffic it goes up to 210. What temp I should start to worry about it.

One thing to check for is a worn out fan clutch. When mine went out, I had overheating problems with my 396. Mine usually runs in the 200 range, but only when the AC is on, and its over 100 out. It was only in the 70's this weekend here in DFW, i would say you are running on the high side. Also, if you don't have a fan shroud, get one, they really help a lot.
