Getting the 78 back after 5yrs of no driving

Or maybe I should title this "when somthing can go wrong it will"

I am getting my 78 on the road again after 5yrs of sitting. Ended up having to get a new fuel tank and new fuel system minus the holley electric pump, it still pumped away. Just re-wired it to make it extra clean.
-Needed new tires, 5yrs in AZ means dry rot.
-Now that the motor is in, the holley fuel pump quit working.
-Now that the headers are on, the starter no longer works.
-Planned to have this done in 2-3days max, tommorrow will be day 4.
-New fuel tank has larger fill mouth then old one [????] so I have to find a new filler neck.

But at least the motor is in and ready, and the transmission is hooked up. Now all I need to do is attach the hurst shifter and driveshaft, put the carter electric pump from the 79 in, get a new starter, find a filler neck, fill er up with some coolant, and Im ready to drive! 5 years is too long for any truck to sit.

On a simpler note, who has a muncie 4 speed? I need to know how the reverse plate is attached. It either goes with the kink in towards the tranny or away, anyone know which way?

If it is a Hurst Competition, it goes towards the tranny. What is happening with the other truck?
