I didn't notice it before but the 6 bolt have 6 spokes vs the 5 bolt having 5 spoke, those are beauti rims... a little too much $ for me right now though.

They're actually called the Torque Thrust VI. Classic Trucks magazine just put a set on their project 67. They look really good IMO.

Dammit.....those are growing on me. Plus it will save me money if I don't have to revert back to a 5-lug setup. Pretty sweet.

GANGFORWARD....which JACKSON are you in?

I love the looks of those wheels. I have the 5 lug version on my CST. I wish they would make them in an 8 lug....I'd put em on my C-20 Custom Camper.

Hey Putter....

I guess I could do that but I actually haul a BIG camper on the truck so I don't think it would be too safe. I got 1969 Mitchell 10.5 ft camper with the truck. It's in real nice condition and the roof does not leak!!! Amazing.

Went to order the wheels at Les Schwab's....

SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS! ARGH! We still have snow here - July 1st? Seesh.

Any ideas where I might find a set faster? Or suggestions where to get them?

Gotta Find Some TQVI's!

Dang it....my wife's father just took a mini-vacation (site-seeing) trip to Wyoming on Monday. I could have shipped you a set via him from the American Racing distributor I use outside of New Orleans. They have them in stock.
Why 6-8 weeks??? That is insane. I can have a set at my door in 2-3 DAYS if I use the FedEx man....or the same day if I make the 3 hour trip to New Orleans!!!

I bought mine from Discount Tire in Colorado. Took about 5 days to arrive and price was reasonable.

Those are sweet looking rims. I have been toying with the idea of getting a set. Every place I call says they are only available in 17 in. diameter, and they are a special order item so it will take 4 weeks to get. I have been quoted around $300 a peice. There is several different options for backspacing, but I am not sure if I want to go with 17's and I want to be dead certain on the backspacing before i order, that would be a pricey screw up. For the entire 5 lug conversion through ECE you are looking at about $1200 for the drop-spindle/discs up front plus the 5 lug axles for the back.

I've run into the same bottleneck, and after calling American Racing was told the wheels will not fit the center hub and shouldn't be used on our trucks. I've got a call in Classic Trucks Magazine to try and find out what they did, if they had to clearance the rim, etc. etc. So far they have not gotten back to me. Love the wheel too, right now it's feeling complicated.

Someone mentioned that they only come in 17"...that is right...17"X7", 8", or 9.5"....

BUT....
The 604 series Torq-Thrust ST (in chrome) comes in 18"x8.5" or 20"x8.5" and look almost the same....just not quite as round on the spokes.

Here is a picture.....

What size do you want? I will call them right now....
I will also verify the hub-ring size (center bore) adn if we can run them on our trucks.
