Alternator

I got an overwhelming response about Optima batteries being the best with my battery post. What does everyone suggest for an alternator?
Where to buy?
What to look for?

Thanks
-Arthur

go to the boneyard & find one from a 85 olds Delta 88. then have it rebuilt by an independant alternator/starter shop. I personally dont trust any that you can buy already done. (Westling is the worst)

I'd go with any internally regulated alternator capable of a minimum of 70 amps on a stock or near stock truck. I'd also recommend not using the 1 wire alternators.
