Speedo question

This past weekend, I fixed the oil, temp, and volt gauge (aftermarket) in my newly aquired truck. The only one left to fix is the factory speedo. It works but is way to fast, like 30mph over actual speed. How do I fix this on my 69??

Sounds like the tranny and/or rearend gears are not original. Your speedo was set up for the original tranny/rear and tire combo. Change any of those and you'll throw off the speedometer. My guess would be to find out what rear end you have, then tranny (what it came out of). You can take that info to the dealer and they can advise you which gears you'll need on the speedo cable and within the tranny tailshaft.
