I've got a quick seat question

A friend of mine called and found me some leather seats and console from a '04 Silverado and can get them kind of cheap. Does anyone know if these will fit into a '65 SWB with the gas tank moved to the rear of the bed ? I'd love to go pick them up and stare at them while the cab gets work done to it.

04 Silverado seats

They will fit, with or without the tank. When we put a seat like that in a 1965 C-10 we had to put spacers on the floor. Silverado floor is almost straight, whereas the 60-66 floors are not. You have to raise the seats to clear the hump and to make the seats level.

Could you fill me in on the year spread for seats that will fit my '66? I've been seeing references to the late 90's up GM truck seats, but what seats between 60's and 90's can be made to work?
