Show Us Your Winch Bumper Pics!
All you members out there that have a 67-72 4x4 with an aftermarket or custom front winch mount, lets see some pics. Would help a lot of us who are looking to add a winch up front.
Thanks, 72longbed |

Not a 67-72 but close.
This one is on a 65. It is a Ramsey PTO winch with a Ramsey mounting kit that is specific to the earlier trucks. Ramsey may have also produced these for 67-72s, does anyone have any Ramsey literature from back then?

Here is mine:
This was made by http://www.kenmtn.com/ Keep in mind this was made back in 99 so I have no clue if the design is the same or what. On their site this bumper is called "The Wincher". I did modify it with extra gussits and raised it up due to my 3" body lift. It has survived great so far and I do use it quite a bit.. Burt

Nice Rubicon pic, Burt? Looks like you had to use your winch. I'm sure it was to help someone else.
Great sliders, too. You have a well-prepped 4x4, by the looks of it.

New Question, Who Sells Them??
New focus,
lets list all of the winch bumper manufacturers that currently make a front winch bumper for a 67-72 Chevy/GMC truck. Pics would be great too! So far there's the: 1. Wincher any others????? BTW, didn't I read somewhere on this Board that one of our members was making winch bumpers for our trucks?? Last edited by 72longbed; 05-19-2005 at 09:27 AM. |

Hey 72longbed, There are not a whole lotta choices out there. If I was in the market for a new winch bumper I would be looking for a custom built one for your rig. There are alot of guys out there that do custom work. Look localy in the yellow pages under welding and such. Or if you are a welder copy someones design and make your own. On the internet you can find alot of guys that will build anything you need. Places like CK5.com has vendors there and http://www.diy4x.com/ are just examples of what is out there.
anyway thats my .02c....
