Like 67Chevy says...casting number first, then condition, then consider how you are going to use them. If they are for a 100 pt. restoration they might be worth more than as a performance piece. You can get good used Vortecs for about $200 (if you shop around) and they are much better performance parts than any early Vette head.

If they are true vette heads i would have them checked for cracks, valve seat wear, any port work etc. if they are virgin i would put them on ebay with a reserve over 1200.00 and see what happens. Get the casting # and year.

I had a bare set of camel humps for sale at Pate that (I was told) were '65 vette 365 hp heads. They are factory 2.02/1.60, have factory screw in studs, and are in very good condition. I priced them at $450, and nobody was interested. Maybe I should try ebay, lol!

what are you rolling your eyes about? they are saying 400 and whatever for a set of old heads that need completely redone because they came from a vette?

Not on this board maybe not on ebay BUT put them on a Corvette site and see what happens. I could be wrong but people doing vette correct restorations on pre 68's will pay a little more for the correct parts.

Ah,461s.I`d love to have them. They are worth some good coin.TPI works better than a 3 2bbl Stromberg set-up.But,you`ll pay dearly for the 3 Dueces.Old speed equipment only grows in value.OEM and aftermarket. You can`t give an I6/3spd away to most people. They`re tossing them for 350/TH350s right`n`left.Don`t think the ol`6 is a boat anchor, though. All things past are sought after later.

They are also correct for the 302 Z-28 so that is one good selling point. I have four sets here and it would take 500 for a set. All have the 202's with guide plates and screw in studs. Like special-K said anthing from the past is sought after and hard to find. Nostalgia I love it!!
