I just did a BBC conversion in my 84 C10. I had a 71 396 we rebuilt at my shop. My truck came with a 305 and I used the stock mounts that were on the frame and the stock clam shells that were on the 305 and had no problem with the fit or install of the motor. I am not clear on the mounts you have for sale. If I can use 305 mounts why cant anyone else installing a BBC. Im not trying to be rude Im just wondering what makes these mounts different from mine?
