Ochre 2wd Blazer on Ebay

Look at this Blazer. I wish there were more pictures but it does look pretty nice. It would make a good start, that's for sure.

Looking at it more it has a single wall top, the carpet strips look like they are there, even the side tailgate seals are there. The interior cargo panels are there too.

Just my opion but the ochre one seems like a little too much money, especially for something with that much rust & incorrect buckets, that there is like a $3500-4000 or less. Keep in mind that my friends orange one(posted in the 2wd 69-72 blazer section) that he has with no rust a B&M blown small block and good correct interior, Lowered, TT2's was last time I checked the same price as that ochre one. The 2nd one, the major project...it's a converted 2wd, and someone stole the brand new cowl hood off of it, sooooooo I would leave that be.

If you find a 2wd blazer in that shape for $3500-4000, buy it right away. I can just about guarantee you could turn it around for much more.

Converted 2wd's aren't worth as much as a factory 2wd, but I'd take one anyway. When are you going to post those pics of your buddies Blazers anyway?

It's for sale in Longview, Wa....he doesn't advertise though. He wants to sell the white 72' (early) 2wd blazer first, along with his 71' or 72' GMC Stepside before he sells his orange 2wd (he has had it for 8 years). If anyone wants any info, I can provide it.

71SWB4X4- Not totally sure if he'll sell that one first but I can tell you about it. I know more about the white one than the other two. I'll tell you all that I know. The blazer is chevy orange, real 2wd. Factory buckets, rear seat, guages, rear panels and smoothed/color matched top. It has a good looking little 350 with a polished B&M Blower, & Turbo-350. It has the stock steel hood and also a goodmark cowl hood(currently on the blazer). The interior is black, but the buckets need to be upholstered to match the rear seat(with the scrollwork). It's lowered a little and now has some corvette stle rally's on it. I'd have to double check on the price...it was $7500 about 4-6 months ago. I believe I'm going to talk to him tomorrow so I can check if you want

I'm currently trying to deal with my friend to trade my stepside for the white blazer, not sure whats going to happen, but if the deal doesn't go through then I see no harm. 402BBC, Turbo 400, Posi Rear End, Blue Interior with front Bench Seat, Flowmaster dual exhaust, lowered (really low 2" or so under the a-arms), smoothed/color matched top, lots of new parts.....don't know what else you want to know except for the price -$14,000

Check with him tomorrow and get back to me. I am interested in it.
If he is willing to sell and you could get me more pictures I would appreciate it. I have only seen one picture of that one.

babyblue, I'm interested in the orange one too (don't tell my wife yet). I didn't know it was that nice looking. When I talked to you a while back, you said it was pretty rough.

I don't recall saying it was ruff, it just isn't all the same color orange....I think the rear quarters are like 1 shade off and the new hood is a shade or two off, because the fender(s) paint is older. He jokes around and says it's about 7 different colors of orange, but I think it's really like 2 or 3 and outside or in the garage unless you have a really keen eye you can't tell. I also remember saying that the body isn't all that straight, but I didn't say that it was horrible....they aren't real noticable high and low spots, I'd have to day the body on it is a 5 or 6/10, and the white one's is a 8/10, and that condisdering 9/10 and 10/10 are like near perfect or absolutely perfect show type vehicles The Interior is good except for the pattern of fabrics not matching rear seat and fronts and the only thing bad about the blazer in my opinion is the door hinges on the drivers side...they need replaced. If I remember right I believe I think I told you, or maybe it was a post on the board that he seems to change his mind daily about the orange blazer. He is now committed to selling the white blazer and the yellow stepside. I know he'll take $27,000 for all 3 of them. Or it was $21,000 for just the 2 blazers I think, can't really recal if that was the number on both blazers or not. Keep in mind it's actually been a while since I took a good look at the orange one, I never looked at it like I was buying it. If he isn't busy tomorrow after work I'll go over and chit-chat, take some pictures for you guys and try to work a deal out for me on the white blazer.

You never said it was in bad shape. I think I must have read more into what you were saying than what you really did (probably trying to convince myself I don't want another Blazer.) You did say he changes his mind a lot. You guys should plan on making a road trip up here for one of the shows at the XXX drive-in this summer. I think MikeT is trying to get the northwest guys together for a meet this summer too.

Have you guys seen the Black 2wd for sale in Mount Vernon, WA? http://adcache.collectorcartraderonl...2/79482922.htm

or the slammed Ochre Blazer in OH? http://adcache.collectorcartraderonl...8/79210968.htm

Yes, I did see both the blazers, the ochre one is bookmarked and for some reaason I didn't like that black one. I think that was the one at puyallup swap meet for like $11k.....and this weekend I'm going to be up in rainbow falls for a car show, thats probably the only one I'll go to up in the seattle area.

I have a parts Blazer that has what looks like a really nice pass side bed side but I may need it for my Jimmy. I haven't dug into anything too deep yet. The driver's bed side and bed floor are pretty rough. If I hear of anything else I will let you know.
