70 Extended Cab Pic
This was a very nice conversion we saw yesterday at the swap meet. I am posting again under a different topic so those who might have missed it. This truck was extremely clean and reflected excellent craftsmanship.

Dang, that truck looks excellent. I would love to have an extended cab like that. Wonder how complicated that kind of conversion is.......

That DOES look good. The roof and lines all look fresh off the assembly line.

That there is the single best cab modification I have ever seen done, period. The lines are perfect. And I don't think I'd move the driprail after all, it works where it is.

That one is perfect. The blue one posted recently was close but this one looks great. How much was it.....looks like a price on the window but I can't read it.

I like the 4x4 better but I don't go for lowered trucks myself.

The price was approximately $7500-$7995...didn't really look at the price. It was about right for all the work that had been done. It attracted a good deal of attention. I believe it had a 350 and the engine compartment was very clean but not show quality. The interior was excellent and extremely clean. It did not have a shorty seat in the extension just carpet. Very, very clean daily driver. The body and paint were excellent!

That truck is one nice looking truck. I've seen three trucks changed to extended cabs. Seen 1 4x4 and 2 2wd trucks like this. They all looked so good. The only thing is I never had my camera with me to take pictures. Now I carry my camara most of the time and never see them now.

That's the best and most natural looking job I have seen so far. The rear side windows are a much better choice than some of the others that I've seen. The guy did a very nice job, and kept it clean, I like it!

Anybody notice that they used a suburban roof to make it? It is taller than a trucks and you can see the extra body line 1-1/4 above where the drip rails should have been.

You are right, sub roof. That truck was built by GMCRAT's dad up in Federal Way, WA a couple years ago. He sometimes visits the board. Maybe he will drop in and tell us about it.

Looks like my 1967 except we didn’t use the burb roof, that is a bi@%ch to do. Mine is in primer and we are just now installing the Caddy 500 engine and Caddy T400 tranie. Good friend of mine in Colorado Springs (Mike’s Custom Trucks) is doing one that is 4x4 with longbed for a customer. He also is doing a 1972 four door 4x4 longbed for himself. He is using the burb on the 4 door.
