WTB one piece windows

I'm looking at Brothers one piece windows. Has anyone installed this kit?
Is there a better kit on the market? Appreciate any input, thanks.

Ed distributes for Brothers and is very close to their price.
Doesn't someone else make one piece windows?

too bad you're in Arkansas

Wish you were closer to central Illinois. I've got the kit sitting in my garage. It's been there a couple of years. I chopped the top on my truck so the kit is all but useless to me.

early classic enterprises makes a kit as well,i think they are cheaper then brothers,i put brothers in mine, they are not bad,i just didn't like the way they held the glass to the window runner,so i just glued mine, but otherwise, they are great,i also installed power windows as well, which if you are doing both,i suggest setting the one piece windows with your factory regulators as the power doesn't give you that LITTLE SLIGHT movement you need in setting them, but you win some and you lose some, just trying to help,i also recomeen getti9ng the smoked ones,i can posty some pics of mine after the weather clears up if youd like.also,1 last thing, you have to modify the top hinge,it is the last step in the process, but in my eyes should be the first,if you dont modify it before you close the door, you cant role the window down inside and when you shut the door,it pushes it back into the drip rail, trust me,this was a bad thing,i have a nice little scratch on my fresh paint, but oh well,i hope this helps

Hilljob, thanks for the information. I'd like to see some pics if it's not too much trouble.
I read through Brothers instructions on the web site but didn't see anything about modifying a hinge. Don't think I understand.

Tinner, I'm interested, sent you a PM

trust me,its not on the internet, but it is in there instruction book, there is a lot of modifying, you have to cut your vent windows, you have to cut your back window runner,,but the hings is the last one,if you look at the top hinge, there is 2 rivet marks on it where it arcs inside the door(you have to look at it off the door),then have to grind that arc down to those rivits,i will get some pics, give me a little bit

Hilljob, as you have done it, I certainly believe you. It's obviously not as straight forward as they would have you believe. I still like the clean look of the one piece.
If you have additional information or pics, that would be great.

im sorry,i wasn't trying to be rude, sometimes it comes out like that, here are some pics of mine, the front aluminum pice is where you caut the vent window and the hinge is the one that has to be ground down, and the last page of the instructions is there as well,i hope this helps, maybe tinner would give you a good deal if he will ship, shipping is not bad as long as you pay the extra 2 bucks for insurance,i did not have a problem w/ mine, and i bought mine from another board member for 250,that was a steal

oh yeah by the way, dont even try popping that pin out of the hinge to get to that piece that needs ground down,i spent about 2 hrs and 4 punches trying to pop those out, then just decided to mark the door and pull it off, took like 5 minutes a door, and that was with grinding on the hinge, just thought id pass that on

Hilljob, thanks for the pictures, it makes more sense to me now. Good tip on the hinge pin also. I'm a little surprised at how dark the tint is. I think Brothers lists a clear and a light tint. Again I appreciate it!

Longnlow, Thanks for the input and pictures. I'm sure I'll have questions for both of you if I can strike a deal with Tinner...

Still not sure yet if it's gonna even have windows. Got a 496 with all forged internals. Might just put some lexan in and make it a door slammer.
