Anyone have the 'Smittybuilt' bucket/bench seats in your truck? They're the same as 'Steelhorse' I believe.

I'm curious about how high they are vs. the stock bench? Pics anyone?

My GF had a Steelhorse bench seat in her '82 SWB. The one with the folding center console.
I don't remeber there being any issues.

I'm trying to determine if they sat higher than a stock bench does.

I'm trying to make some bracketry to mount a buckets + jumper-seat combo (similar to a 67-68 set-up) in my 74. The problem is when I set the seat/s @ the correct height to manuever the seat/s forward/back, they're actually about 1" higher than the already tall stock bench.

I did some 'googling' & read where a couple of people used the Steelhorse seats or something similar & used the words and/or phrase: "they sat a little higher". I'm wondering if they had to raise them for the same clearance issue I'm seeing.
