How difficult is it?
I have an 86 GMC K3500 DRW that I am gonna redo... I was thinking today (as I was sweatin my arse off cleaning a few months of crap off the exterior,) how sswwwweeeet it would be if this truck had A/C. I have a better chance of finding a late 80's to 91 K5 Blazer for parts than I do a 86 GMC K3500 w/ A/C Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?????? ![]() ![]()

J hi. I have converted 2 vehicles. While the end result was satisfactory with both of them I don't want to do another one. Of course I did it the hard way having to find parts here and there. It would be way easier to find a doner with a complete functioning a/c system to switch over to yours.
Another option is to go with an aftermarket setup like a Vintage Air or the like. Good luck with your deal.
