Has anyone bought from AIM
Hi, just wondering if anybody on here has bought or heard something about this company. I am planning on ordering their airbag kit, but don't want to mess up and buy a piece of ____ kit. Any info on this company or airbag kit (the one that shows up on every issue of Trucki'n $898, now $750). Thanks in advance.

I bought stuff from them once with no problems but 99.99% of everyone will tell you to avoid buying from them. I probably just got lucky. They have cheap prices but outrageous shipping charges. I'd recommend buying from a more reputable vendor.

They suck! I have installed one of there 4 links in a customer truck.... Peice of crap. Another guy I know bought an air tank from them and they charged $50 to ship it! Should have only been $10.

Glad I asked before ordering. Was planning on calling them this week. Someone told me that ART makes good kits. Anyone know the website or for that matter anyother good website that sells airbag kits.

Ive also done business with them 3 times now and have no complaints. I had some stuff on my truck from aim and it all sucked. It will get the job done but it still sucks.

AIM=CRAP overpriced at that. Ordered a few parts years ago. None of them fit without mods. Do a search for AIM and you will get back a few complaints.

KdawgS10;
The BEST response and post I have ever seen!!! Spherical rod ends or "heim" ends should never be used on the street. Not enough flex or give, they WILL break over time. Just my .02 CCDually Last edited by GMC1tondually4dr; 06-27-2005 at 10:04 PM. |

yea I was mostly letting them see the size difrence. but yea heims suck balls. and if the dont break they wear out and get a ton of slop in the system.
thous are MY pics. the little rod end is from FBI and they use the same size as aim. I was gona use the FBI kit on my S10 till a buddy of mi=ne had me install the suicide kit on his S10. I sole that fbi kit and bought me a very beafy suicide kit for my dually.
