Radio Wiring

Does anyone have a picture or diagram of how the wiring hooks up on a stock GM AM radio . It's a stock 67 radio. Thanks, Chris

If I remember correctly, there are only three wires...a positive that runs to the fuse box, and a pair for the speaker. If you have the correct harness for the radio, you can pull it off the radio. Then the positive wire will even disconnect from that. The remailing two are for the speaker.

Isn't there also a brown wire that is part of the radio that comes around the back side and powers the internal light? It's been awhile, so this may not be right.

GQ, Smoke I just installed my e-bay am radio today (went well) and had to modify the stock speaker bracket for my new speaker as I couldn't find a stock repo (what a pain trying to find one, I gave up). I bought a new 10 ohm 4 X 6 delco (for a 92ish Buick) and had to do some time consuming bending on the stock bracket but it went well also, now I just need the radio harness and an antenna. I think I'm going to install the antenna under the dash and make sure its grounded, I hope the radio itself works I'll soon find out. Doug
