Postman brought me another package...
Well after the first batch (Click here for more info) part 2 finally arrived today.
It took awhile to clear customs, but it's here now, and that's all that matters. I'll start this conversion after my holiday. Only 5 more weeks, and I'm on vacation to the USA!! Well enough talk here's the picture of the brackets.... (They are from Blackbirds Custom Trucks ) Cya, Edmond

Thanks Mats! I can't wait for my first trip to the US.
There is so much to see, I'll never have enough time. When I'm back from vacation, and the Car meeting season is over this conversion is a great job to do. I hope it all goes well. Oh and by the way, I'll send the parts book this week. Cya, Edmond

I am very interested too. I am switching to front 8 lug disk very soon and was thinking about the rear disc. Please post as many pics as you can. Good luck and have a good vacation.

We arrive on the 2nd of August in San Francisco. We then go to Reno for a few days (HAN), after that it's Yosemite, Death Valley, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Phoenix, San Diego and Los Angeles. Then we take a plane to Kansas City and visit Kevin (Nu2-72) and his family for a few days. And last we will go to New York for a few days. We leave again on the 29th of August. So if anyone can tell me if there are junkyards worth visiting, please let me know. I would love to see one for myself. Also I would like to visit places like Classic Industries, Summit Racing, LMC and Chevy Duty. I believe all of them are in the neigbourhood to where we are planning to go. So there's lots to see and to do. Cya, Edmond

That is cool that you are hooking up with Kevin, and Teeitup isn't far from KC, so between the 2 of them, you could probably come up with about anything you would need, LOL! Enjoy your trip man, sounds like you have plenty to do and lots to see. We will look forward to pictures from you, LOL!
By the way, there is a Chevy Duty in Kansas City. Best wishes for a safe and great trip!

I just got my complete 14 bolt rear disc conversion kit today from Blackbird's. It's for my 72 that is using 73+ axles (14 Bolt FF in the rear). Man, the brackets are BEEFY. They make the ones on Ebay look like toys. Everything looks great in the kit, now I just need to fab up some E-brake brackets. I ordered the rear E-Brake cable kit from GMC Pauls, so hopefully it will work. I asked that they not ship it if it wouldn't work with the Eldorado calipers.
