Ace (True Value Hardware) carries the VHT brand. I bought 5 can on sale for 2.99 ea. about six month ago. I also bought two cans of clear at the time and the paint job looks great--IMHO (I did a LOT of prep and sanding between coats).

Not cheap but Summit carries all these paints. I bought a can of the GM Satin the last time I was in Sparks. I should have bought the silver and clear paints made especially for wheels and a couple of colors for brake parts.

Well I guess 2.99 a can and more prep isn't as good as EAST(freakckin)WOOD brand!

chill out dude..from the original post, how the he!! was I to know if the guy was wanting paint to make the wheels look decent or paint to make them look original. All I know from past experience is the eastwood silver argent is a perfect match and has nothing to do with 2.99 a can or 100.00 a can

thanks jamesi20 for letting me know about Eastwood. Down the road, I'll most likely do the better paint on them. For now, just want to get them to look have way decent....
