It's Alive!

After 8 days off from work I finally got this thing fired up.... (I got to work on it about an hour a day.... some days a little more.) Anyway, back to work tomorrow so I thought I'd share my progress. It seems like it took an eternity but hearing the sound of this big block purr made it worth the wait. Check out the video here:

IT'S ALIVE!

As you can see, I've still got several hours ahead of me before she's ready to be road tested but it is encouraging to hear this thing run.
For anyone thinking of giving up, DON'T! You'll be glad you didn't.

It must feel Awesome to get it running. You will have motovation to get the rest put back together and all the little odds and ends that need finishing tidyed up.

I am about 2 hours away from starting my 67 after a 4 year build. I cant wait to hear the 3" exhaust and Super 40's. Hopefuly it will give me the motivation to finish all the loose ends.

I love thoes Rims. Wish I had the extra coin for rims I am stuck with rallys for now.

Not really cold natured... just a 600 lift solid cam... I still need to zero in on the timing.

thanks Mario, I like the rims too.

It's an 850 Demon that's been worked. So far I love it. I'll report back after some quality miles.

Ahh.... you see.. mine idles like that till it warms up cause it has a POS no-choke QJ on it. The QJ will go in favor of a Holy Street Avenger eventualy, but as anyone following my rust thread knows; I have more pressing issues right now. lol

Nice ride man!
