Who was looking for a 4X4 transfer case skid plate?

I have a buddy who thinks he has one .. I thought I would ask before he digs for it...

your second one is off of a 67-68 4X4 with a Rockwell transfer case. Had the same one on my 68 GMC when it had the remote Rockwell...
The ones for the 205 transfer case are the same..

I was just down at Wes' place a couple weekends ago. He had a skid plate & cross member sitting on the ground. I'm not sure if he plans to sell it or use it.

Don't recognize that! Where does that go? Either my Jimmy doesn't have it or I don't know where to look. Thanks

I have been reproducing the 205 plates for a couple of years. Check Pickmup. He had some of mine for sale.

From what I have been told, not too many 4x4 trucks even had them.

That would explain why it was sitting there. I think you came down that same day. I picked up a hatch from him.

Mike Files, so the one in your pictures, where does it go??????????
Is it also a tranfer case cover? I have the one in LUVs picture for the 205 but I have not seen the one you show. Just a question, I know its LUVs. (if you sell it to him)haha.

From the looks of Mike's, it will fit either trans style, looks to be wider
and longer than the Rockwell style, he said it was pretty heavy duty.

It bolts under the transfer case and automatic tranny on the 4x4. It offers full protection against rocks and stumps for off roading. It is bomb proof for sure. If anyone else has seen one of these full cover skid plates please pipe in and tell us. Thanks for helping LUV!
