Time to get downlow
Allright folks, I have decided to take the plunge. I am going to go from stock height to airbags. This is going to be on my 1983 1/2 ton. I am thinking the strong arms from ART, and probally getting a set of 62-72 rear control arms adn putting bags on thoes. Any thoughts or ideas on this idea? Comments, put downs, what ever are apreiacted.
Thanks. Oh and pictures are always welcome.

Well heres the real question, I know NOTHING about air bag setups. All I know is that the bag replaces the springs and you have air lines, a compresor and a tank. Thats about it. So any help would be wonderful. I already have the control arms off of a 66 truck that I bought for prostreeting the truck but I want bags instead so I will just put thoes on. Anyone have any websites and such for any help or cheap places to get parts?

As another resource, checkout the street forum at www.fullsizechevy.com
There are quite a few bagged guys there that really know their stuff. |
